I think we're raising her right

Yesterday during their walk Katie and pardigmslost were chowing down on some blackberries. When it was time to go pardigmslost handed Katie a last berry saying "here honey, would you like one for the road". She nodded sagely and carfully proceeded to place the berry on the tarmac and then waived goodbye to it.
