Toaster (the kitten)

Our new family member has settled right in, she has her favourite spots; my daughter's bed & the window in the library, has been impeccable about using her litter box, and is an all-round engaging feline. I need to make arrangements for a vet visit to get her immunizations, from experience in the past that should happen around six months so that would put the vet visit in October, we're not sure exactly how old she is but that's a good estimate. I also need to look into pet insurance. I'm very happy she entered our lives, we'll see if another kitten in need of a home turns up soon failing that I'm told the vet we are looking to use often has kittens available just to keep her company.

Yay! I think it would be wonderful if you could find another kitten to keep her company. I had long intended to get a little brother or sister for Lucy, but then we started looking for a house (didn't want to get a new cat just before moving), and then she got sick and passed away, so that never happened. When we adopted the Breakfast Club together, I was really glad they had each other for company!

I'm actually starting to have second thoughts, Toaster has fit in so well and she seems a happy and content cat, I'm wary of adding an unknown quantity to the equation, I've heard a lot of stories about demon cats lol.
