Boring Day
Jul. 28th, 2005 02:19 pmIt's been a bit of a drag today, except for some of my friend's thoughtful posts which brought some spice into what has been a bit of a dreary stuck inside while it's lovely kind of a day. I'm about six weeks away from the end of my job here and I sure hope they get a replacement in before the end of August. I'm trying to set everything up so that it practically runs itself so hopefully my successor will have less challenges than I did.
This morning I practically had to crowbar both my sweethearts out of bed, neither seemed very pleased at the prospect of facing the day. Poor Katie got very congested out of the blue yesterday evening and I finally broke down and dosed her with some decongestant after which she settled down. I am told that by the time she and

gwisteria's she was once again fast asleep.
We got our first package mailed, at about $50 a pop it's cheaper than a moving company but still pretty exhorbitant. A lot of our household stuff that we are selling is already spoken for and people are patiently waiting for us to move in earnest to pick up their stuff.
There is so much to do and so little time to do it in before I leave.
