Ren Fair

I had a blast, thanks to the wonderful krkhst who drug me out there and organized a bunch of my favorit people to come too. I stocked up on my favorite perfume "Danze" from the Alchemist's Shop and found the perfect initiation gift for Ms. M. High points of my day were S and his tiny lovely little daughter with perfect lavender butterfly winds, I am not kidding when I say that they came close to stopping one of the daily parades dead in its tracks because the King and Queen were ooing and aahing over the little fairy child. The other highlight was the jam session between the hippy drum crowd and the Minneapolis fife and drum band, when you have about a dozen pipers and a dozen drummers getting down to Scotland the brave it just has to be a good time. I finally found a jeweler that I like that will custom make a mooncrown for me, anything I have found on line just looks cheap or too large or both. This is going to be a lovely delicate silver piece that I think I will be very pleased with. I also found out that I can custom order a particular set of artwork that I thought was discontinued which I will do when I have some spare cash and have been working for a bit in Ireland.

All in all it was a wonderful exhausting day after which I collapsed in bed around 8:30pm, the more hardy of my friends stayed for the drum jam but I just didn't have the energy for it.
