Robert Hutton and a Lung Infection
Aug. 27th, 2006 10:30 amI saw Robert Hutton on TV yesterday, he was called in as a consultant on the English Civil War by a show on Archeology called the Time Team. They dig in various spots where they speculate a particular thing is to be found for three days and report on what they find. Geek TV Heaven. Mr. Hutton looks like the ultimate eccentric English gentleman, also sounds like someone I would love to have a conversation with.
Made a another batch of Strawberry Cordial today, thank you J, the recipe is diving. I changed it slightly by adding more lemon juice as I like a little more acidity. Also a huge pot of Chicken Soup for
paradigmslost who is verging on pneumonia. We went to the doctor on Friday and he has more medication than my Father does (well not quite, but you get the idea. Yesterday her Short but Energetic Highness and I went to Oma and Opa's to give the poor man some rest. Mom and I froze a metric butload of Swiss Chard and the ongoing portion of beans, today we will make tomatoe sauce from the ripening batch in my Mother's Bedroom, I think something else is also on the list but I can't remember.
