Warning Toddler Stories
Sep. 13th, 2006 12:44 pmAnnecdote #1: Katie as you may remember bruised her thumb quite badly in an accident with a door a few weeks ago, Monday evening she was sitting on her potty when the door rang. I went to get it and in my hurry to close the living room door behind me did not see the flash of greased lightning that is my daughter and clipped her on the side of the head with the door. Much crying ensued, but she seemed to be more outraged than hurt. She pointed to her head (wanting it kissed) and said in a loud injured tone of voice "door", then she held out her thumb, her voice rising another octave; "door", emphasizing her disgust, once more the thumb went up (as did her voice); "DOOR". The "door" is in the doghouse in our domicile.
