Daily Diary

Crazy morning, had to pack 5 more boxes that didn't get done for our big fair shipment yesterday and then sprint out for my Physiotherapist appointment at 9am. I am getting more and more impressed with this lady, I will see her again in three weeks at which point she thinks my ankles and feet should be in pretty good shape.

Kate has started going to a playgroup for 2 1/2 hours three times a week, she is doing ok though I think she is having a bit of stress at being separated from family. The first day she didn't say anything to paradigmslost but in the evening she confided to me that it was "a little bit scary" coming from our stoic daughter that's pretty big stress for a little girl. We will see how things go, hopefully she will make friends and start looking forward to going and playing with them. If not we will have to re-evaluate, thankfully we are not financially obliged to have to put her into daycare so we have options.

I talked to onyxtwilight yesterday, it was lovely chatting and I wished him a belated happy birthday. Unfortunately he had not received his present yet so I checked on the Amazon website and it had been delivered to the "porch" over a week ago. Hopefully it's buried under some shoes and they can retrieve it. Worst case scenario is that they put it outside the front door and someone pinched it. So onyxtwilight let me know if it's found, if not I will call Amazon and see if they will replace the copy.

On a happy note I got some fiber stuff to play with, 1kg of Blue Faced Leicester top as well as a selection of different mordants and weld, madder and cochineal. Now I need to spin the wool up in 25g batches and start playing.
