A Blessed Sabbath

We just spent a mellow but productive weekend celebrating the great harvest festial. This morning we picked elderberries which are now steeping on their way to becomming a red country wine. Kate and here Papa went to some kind of kids event where she saw Dora, Barney and other comic heroes to her eternal delight. While I made Mabon Feast which consisted of a monumental pork shoulder roast with the bone in served with a selection of wild and cultivated mushrooms in a creme fraiche sauce and a large portion of Colcannon on the side. This was accompanied by a very nice mystery bottle of red wine and finished with a selection of cakes we picked up at the market yesterday.

The Gods have been kind, everyone is satiated and tired ready for bed.
