All Critters are doing well
Aug. 11th, 2010 03:20 pmToffee got spayed last week and is doing well despite the fact that she managed to loose her collar the first evening and remove most of her stitches by the 3rd day. We've been monitoring her closely and the incision is healing well. She is taking her antibiotics (all of the .1ml per dose) without too much complaining and seems to be quite happy.
Doodles went to her first vet visit yesterday and proved to be a real trooper. She got a worm tablet which she took without any fuss, a flea treatment and vaccination shots. She never cried, didn't struggle and mostly played with the cotton wool the vet used to clean her ears. It appears she is no more than 12 weeks old, I have no idea how long she was wandering on her own before she found us but I hope the bastard who dumped her to die contracts a prolonged and nasty skin disease. The vet remarked on how well behaved and friendly she was.
Me I'm just relieved everybody is doing fine.
