Kate and a Car Door

Kate's right index finger got caught in the car door as she and Brian left for the market, they were dropping Mom and me off at the new house. The good news is that she apparently didn't break anything, the tip of her finger burst open but it's still attached and the blood supply is good. She's gonna loose her nail and is on a round of antibiotics. Brian and I spent most of the day at the Emergency Room but we are home now and having some well deserved food. Mom cleaned the upstairs bathroom and cleaned and oiled the upstairs bedroom floors, she's just astonishing. The builder took her home around 4pm, my Mother is made of very stern stuff and so is her grandaughter.
