evaelisabethIf you happen to be interested in Historic costuming as I am or are just a history buff, run do not walk to the astonishing Cathedral of Chartres http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathedral_of_Chartres . They started in the 12th century and seem to have been adding on since then. The front door so to speak called the Royal Portal is one of the great pieces of art of all time and a wonderful resource for information on the construction of 12th century clothing.
