Later period carvings inside Chartres Cathedral

Inside the imposing edifice you will find many things of interest one of these is a serious of carvings that reflect a later period than the outside. You will also find the famous labyrinth but don't get too excited, most days it's covered in chairs for the faithful (Mom was quite put out). The stained glass alone is worth the trip but I'm afraid the size of the vault was a little beyond my cameras abilities http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fnart/arch/chartres_glass1.html , it's quite breathtaking.
