Broceliande

evaelisabethOn Monday we finally made it into Brittany and headed for the heart of the region the Forest of Paimpont which is one of the fragments remaining from the original Ur-Forest of Broceliande. Paimpont itself is a lovely town distinctly imprinted by New Age Tourism but a lot of fund nonetheless. We had some crepes, secured accommodation for the night and headed out into the forest. Mom's knee was bothering her and my stomach was still not settled so we couldn't hike much but we did manage to procure some wands and had the best time. That evening we picked up some bread and cheese and ate at the Gite that we had rented for the night.
