evaelisabethYesterday was crazy again at work, I did have a caffeinated late in the morning and that helped me through (no such luck today ;-)

paradigmslost has done trojan work in cleaning the house and getting the last 20% or so of bits and pieces into the new house. We really really don't want to spend the next weekend painting so he's going to offer the landlord the security deposit in exchange for us not having to do it, we will see if that works. I don't want the man pissed off at us since everyone knows everyone else over here. Today the satellite TV is supposed to be installed, the technician was going to be there before 10am but I haven't heard from paradigmslost yet and am not holding my breath on the man being on time. We are still waiting for the modem for our internet connection, I hope it gets here by tomorrow or we will be without a connection over the weekend (terrible, isn't it ;-) I did find out that one of the local mobile phone companies is starting to offer wireless broadband and that once we move out to my parent's property we should be able to get connected. My poor Mother is still limping away on dial up right now. She still plans to take a computer course in the winter (once the garden is done) at which point she will realize what she's been missing.
