evaelisabethWhen I saw the links at first I was puzzled, it took the third or fourth one for me to actually click on it and discover that LJ had added some new controls to the system. At first I was righteously pissed at the 6A people for this nonsense but the more I thought about it the more I realized that what I should really be angry about was the society and government that prompted the company to do this in the first place. Let's face it no profit making business is going to put this kind of nonsense in place just for the good of their health they know it's going to make their client base angry. It's very sad that we live in a time when people and organizations are so afraid of litigation and possible government crackdowns that they will go to these kind of lengths.
The real villains of this piece are the forces of right wing fundamentalism that are literally trying to take over the world, whether they live in the US or in Sudan where they just put a British teacher in jail for naming a class teddy Muhammad.
I wish my writing skills were up to the job conveying how sad and angry I am.
