Good News on the Blood Pressure front

The 24 hour blood pressure monitor showed elevated levels but not to the point where the doctor thought it was necessary to prescribe medication. I'm to have it checked every two weeks for a while to see how I'm doing. I have to say I'm not as relieved as I should be as my trust in this particular Doctor has been eroded somewhat. She doesn't seem to hear me, all she can say about my stress at work is basically that I need to buck up and stick it out because I might not get another job. Her main comment when my cholesterol was found to be too high was that I was going to have a very bland Christmas. She couldn't even remember exactly what some of the values on the blood test were she had to go check with her nurse. I'm just not very impressed with her anymore.
