It's been a rough few weeks I went from home for a week flu/sinus infection right into the urinary tract infection from hell. Between the two I've been on antibiotics for more than half of the last 4 weeks. I remember a day when I could count the number of times I had taken antibiotics on one hand. On a positive note I seem to have finally kicked the bugs that have been bugging me and even got some crafty stuff done last weekend. I cut out a Norman over tunic in the loveliest most in your face color combination of red and purple (the main part is purple and the neck facing and lining for the big sleeves is red), it's going to be stunning, I think. It should look something like this. Lot's of sewing to do on it but I'm going to take my time and do it bit by bit as I'm enjoying the hand sewing. Am also making progress on the second red sock, it looks like this one may be done a little quicker than it's sibling.
