Things about Dublin you wouldn't expect, not for the weak of stomach

I think most of my friends list is aware that I work right smack dab in the center of Dublin. It's become a very cosmopolitan city with a melange of dozens of languages chattering up and down every street. A less attractive aspect of the growth of the city is that there are more bodily fluids on the street here than anywhere else I have ever lived. It's just extremely disconcerting when you regularly walk over swathes of rust colored stains that cover several square meters not to mention the vomit and the urine that you encounter on every other street corner.
