General Updates
Jul. 20th, 2006 09:10 amOn the family front all is well, Kate is still wonderful and precocious and loving,
paradigmslost is still sexy, smart and kind, so I'm good in that respect. At work things are not quite so cut and dried, there are some issues with a co-worker and a lot of stress in general. I was hoping that they would have a replacement for my boss sewn up this week but plans fell through, it's going to get really interesting when the new term rolls around and there is no one in that job. On a positive note I believe that I will be moved to my own office from the one I share with two other people (one of them being the aforementioned issue). This will be a relief on the one hand but also cause a lot of trouble on the other.
This weekend,
paradigmslost will be off to the wilds of Co. Clare (I will let him tell you all about that) while on Saturday I am off to one of the few public pagan gatherings in the country. It's called Feile Draoichte and here is the link http://www.fd.obrienink.net/ . I believe I will go to see JH Brennan (I really like his Astral Doorways), Dolores Ashcroft Nowicki and perhaps the workshop on Essences (I'm not sure what that is exactly) by Mark O'Sullivan. Of course the Ejit's Guide to Vodou also has me intrigued, I will see on the day. I'm unfortunately going to miss Janet Farrar and Gavin Boones talk but I have been wanting to meet Ms. Ashcroft Nowicki for an age. Mom is going to watch the Kate on Friday (B is leaving then) and Saturday so I think a good time will be had by all.
I'm starting to work on a personal website, so any suggestions or requests would be great. The main reason is of course to unleash my opinions on an unsuspecting world but it's also very important to me that it's useful for the general public. The main sections are going to be: Bio (or "who is this lunatic anyway"), Craft, Fibers, SCA, and Sustainable Living. I'm trying to talk
paradigmslost into being the main contributor to the Sustainable Living part as I don't feel very qualified to expound on that topic. I'm also wondering where I should plop my interests in aromatherapy or whether that required a section all of its own?
Anyway that's all I can think of right now and I really should be working at this stage.
