We all know our child is a smart cookie, unfortunately she also seems to be really original and inventive when it comes to hurting herself. The radiologist at the emergency room said she has never had to x-ray and injury like this before. While playing with a small county flag, like the one waved at football games, Kate Managed to stick it through the roof of her mouth into her nasal cavity causing her to bleed both from her mouth and nose relatively profusely. She has a great big hole which thankfully does not seem to have damaged her synuses as far as they can tell right now. We are going back to the clinic tomorow to make sure everything is alright and she is on a diet of soft mushy foods and antibiotics.
