Life, the Universe and Kids

A recent post by a friend made me think about the difference that the little girl has made in my life. It's strange, I'm not less interested in other activities and hanging out with my friends, I'm just more interested in hanging out with her. Whenever I go out to do something spiffy, I always end up thinking at least some of the time that I wish I was with her or that she was there. At the same time we are trying to give her a stable, regulated home life, so she just can't come with me a lot of the time, nap time and bed time in general comes first. Thankfully I have an amazing husband who loves spending time with his daughter and we take turns going out and doing things. This cuts into our together time as a couple but it's a good compromise that gives both of us time away from home. Where does that leave me? well family comes first, then coven and craft, everything else like the SCA has to take a back seat. The SCA isn't going away and down the road I will have more time again, now if I could just get B interested that would be spiffy, though unlikely :-)
