evaelisabethYesterday was a weird day, plans got turned around and I didn't get to spend much time with the family which was what I was planning on. It looks like today may be similar. I did get to go to a Pampered Chef party hosted by a lovely lady and that was fun. I also found out that someone I only knew of through my friends had passed away at a ridiculously early age, a sad loss. Little Miss M continues to be a very very cute little bug and I got to pet her a little last night which hurt my feelings not at all. Babies are so soft.
Today I plan to be out again and though I want to go to this event there is a large part of me that wants to go home and cuddle my big girl and do the dishes and just chat with my husband, sigh. It doesn't help that I realy need warm weather garb (this is a medieaval re-enactment), I'm probably going to fry. But two people I respect very much are being celebrated and I need to go.
If you're wondering what the Gak is about, for some reason I cannot kick this sore throat I have had for weeks, my synuses are getting better, even the coughing is tapering off, but it still feels like I have something spiky stuck in my throat when I swallow. Oh well, this too will pass.
