Alcohol update

and two bottles of the experimental rasberry, I soaked the berries in pure vodka an didn't add the sugar until I was about to bottle in the form of a simple sirup (a la
krkhst), I put 1 whole vanilla bean in one of the bottles so we will see what the difference is between the two eventually. Right now it still tastes a little rough but should mellow with age.
We also labled about 10 bottles of the elderberry flower wine we made earlier this year. It's interesting to compare the color of the new bottles with last years (of which we still have 2 bottles left). The new is a much more golden color while the older one has taken on a light champagne shade.
We are putting away all the new wine to put away so that it has time to age.
