krkhst over for dinner and TV yesterday, as usual we talked our heads off, we never really seem to run out of topics. Katie is better but still not great, she seems to still be working on one tooth and her tummy is a little upset, as a result she isn't sleeping well which means that we're not sleeping well. She was up at 6:00am this morning, usually she makes a couple of noises and falls back to sleep but not today so I got her in bed with me for a half hour and then let her loose on her Papa who had taken refuge on the couch. I'm exited about meeting some of my former collegues today, the four of us are getting together for lunch and I'm sure much gossiping and catching up will happen. Of course I am armed with my Katie pictures which will undoubtedly produce oohs and aahs from the ladies.
I'm doing a lot of thinking about the coven and how good or bad an influence I've been on it. There are a few things I regret not doing and a few things I regret doing. I wish that I had been more mature in my craft when I took students but that kind of thing only comes with time. Things are so much better nowadays that we have more initiates to carry the load, especially here in the twin cities, you can't swing a cat without hitting a BlueStar initiate around here. It's astonishing, we have four established working covens and a few more working on becoming so. I have been blessed with amazing people to work with both in my coven and in the greater community. We are doing such exiting work right now, it's hard to leave. On the other hand I'm moving to a place of ultimate possibilities that will be what I make of it. Whether that is solitary or coven work it's all up to me.
