Gay Rights - a mini rant

evaelisabethThere has been a post going around about gay rights lately that basically states if you don't copy this in your journal you don't support gay rights.
I'm not exactly sure why but the inference that I'm a homophobe if I don't post a blip in my journal really rubbed me the wrong way. I considered posting it for a bit but then decided for this instead.
I support the right of every human being to express themselves sexually as their nature inclines them to with the caveat that it needs to involve conscenting adults (I'm not getting into farm animals here). I resent social pressure in the form of the original post, if the wording had been even slightly different I would have happily hopped on the bandwagon, but the direct inferral that anyone not following the leader was a homophobe really bugged me.
